Traditionally, we meet here in the Salzkammergut region for Christmas markets in the pre-Christmas season. Each of the settings is unique and magical!
Each Advent market in the Salzkammergut enchants in a special way and is worth a visit.
Most Advent markets in the Salzkammergut are open from mid-November to early December.
The highlights of the Salzkammergut Advent:
The Wolfgangsee Advent at Lake Wolfgang is one of the largest and best-known Christmas markets in Austria. It attracts over 100,000 visitors every year.
The Mondsee Advent at Lake Mondsee is a romantic Christmas market with a fairytale atmosphere.
The Hallstatt Advent in Hallstatt is a unique Christmas market in a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
There are also numerous Christmas markets around Lake Attersee.
A special highlight is the probably highest Advent wreath in the region in Seewalchen at the lake Attersee.
